    Hillmac Junior and Intermediate Speech Contests 2016 - 2019

    Anna started the Hillmac Junior and Intermediate Speech Contests in 2016 after coming to Hawke’s Bay from Auckland and realising a need for an area wide contest to promote oral language and confidence.

    Her motto: growing confident kids, one speech at a time.

    The contests were held at the National Aquarium of New Zealand and were cancelled this year due to the complications associated with Covid-19.

    They are open to all children throughout Hawke’s Bay, and schools have competed as far afield as Nuhaka, Frasertown and Wairoa through to Omakere and Flemington and Sherenden schools.

    Anna has coached since 2012, she did a pilot course through Coaching Pacific in Executive and organisational coaching. She is currently working towards her ACC (Associated Certified Coach), certification for the ICF (international Coaching Federation). https://coachfederation.org/
